Return Policy

Shikari Diamonds Pty Ltd offers a 14 day return policy. Customers may return any item other than custom or special ordered item(s) within 14 days from the original shipment date for a refund. Please note that all items must be in a new, unused, unworn and not damaged in any way and they must be accompanied by the original tax invoice, appraisal, and accompanying original grading certificates. Should any promotional items have been received as part of the original purchase these must also be returned in the same original condition.

If a loose diamond purchased from Shikari Diamonds is set by a jeweller other than Shikari Diamonds or if a jewellery item has been modified in any way, all return policies are invalidated. Shikari Diamonds will not accept any item for return unless all of the following procedures and conditions are met.

All international orders are shipped FOB Sydney, Australia. As a result you are solely responsible for any import duties or taxes that are required by the country of import. Under no circumstance is it Shikari Diamonds responsibility to refund any duties or taxes. If you have any questions, then you should contact your country’s customs authority for clarification prior to ordering.

To return an item:

  1. OBTAIN A RETURN AUTHORISATION NUMBER (RAN) – To return an item(s), you must notify Shikari Diamonds within 14 days via phone, fax or email to advice of your problem. You will receive a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).
  2. REPACKAGE THE ITEMS AS SECURELY AS POSSIBLE – No returns will be accepted without an RAN or if this number is not clearly marked on your address label as follows:

    For security reasons do not write Shikari Diamonds on the outside of the packaging or make reference to the contents on the outside of the packaging.
  3. SHIP THE PACKAGE – For returns being posted in Australia, it is recommended that you securely pack your item(s) in the original packaging or in a plain cardboard box and post using a reputable courier such as Australian Air Express or Express Post Platinum available through your local post office. For returns posted from countries other than Australia, your item(s) should be sent using a reputable courier company such as Fedex.
    Please note Shikari Diamonds is not responsible for any items until they received and accepted at our office. We therefore suggest that all item(s) being returned, must be fully insured for the total purchase price of the item(s). Shikari Diamonds will not be held responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during shipping of the item(s) back to Shikari Diamonds. You are responsible for all costs and charges associated with shipping and insurance of the item(s) being returned

Once your item(s) is returned to Shikari Diamonds, the item(s) will be inspected by our Quality department to confirm if a refund, replacement or repair of the item(s) is justified. Shikari Diamonds will contact you to advise if a refund, replacement or repair for the item(s) will be processed. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process upon receipt of the item(s).

Refunds will only be for the original purchase price of the item(s) returned within the 14 days and in the secure manner specified less any shipping, insurance costs. The refund will be processed via the same method as the original purchase transaction. That is, if the purchase was originally made using a credit card, then the refund will be processed on the credit card used initially, if the purchase was via a bank deposit, then the same account will be credited.

By submitting and returning your good(s) to Shikari Diamonds under this policy you are hereby agreeing to Shikari Diamonds Terms and Conditions, Returns Policy and all details listed above.

Shikari Diamonds reserves the right to modify its Terms and Conditions and Returns Policy at any time without prior notice.

You agree that your access to, and use of, this site is subject to these terms and all applicable laws, and is at your own risk. Shikari Diamonds Pty Ltd makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials or products included on this site, except as otherwise provided under applicable laws. Shikari Diamonds Pty Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, successors or assigns will not be liable for any damage or loss whatsoever arising out of, or in any way related to, the use of this web site and any other site linked to this web site.

Your use of the Shikari Diamonds website represents your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions at the time of purchase from the website. You are therefore advised to review the terms and conditions whenever you are using this website or prior to making a purchase.
