Certification

At Shikari Diamonds, we believe that our customers need to be well informed about the diamonds they buy and feel sure that what they are buying are only high quality genuine diamonds. That is why Shikari Diamonds is committed to only selling Ice Envi ™ certified loose diamonds that have been graded by the world’s most highly recognised laboratories.

Shikari Diamonds recommend that before you purchase a loose diamond, you should review a copy of the diamonds certificate as proof that it has undergone an independent and unbiased, professional examination. A diamond certificate, also called a diamond grading report, diamond dossier, or diamond quality document, is a report created by a team of geologists using sophisticated equipment.

Buying certified diamonds offers traceability and peace of mind. You can easily verify that the diamond which you are going to buy is genuine and up to the standard for which you will be paying.

Each diamond certificate, records all the relevant information pertaining to that particular certified diamond including carat weight, colour grade, clarity grade, measurements and physical properties.

The purpose of a diamond certificate is to offer the customer the highest possible level of security and confidence. It confirms the diamond’s authenticity and describes its essential characteristics or 4 C’s. No two diamonds are identical and have their own unique characteristics. A Ice Envi ™ certified diamond has detailed information about its properties recorded and documented as well as an identification number laser inscribed on the girdle of the diamond offering even more protection.

Every Ice Envi ™ loose diamond sold by Shikari Diamonds has been certified by one of the following highly respected internationally recognised laboratories including:

  • GIA - Gemmological Institute of America
  • AGSL - American Gem Society Laboratories
  • EGL- European Gemmological Laboratory and College of Gemmology
  • HRD - HRD Antwerp Institute of Gemmology
  • IGI - International Gemmological Institute
